Though I find the classic pastel pink, blue and yellow muffin tin liners to be perfectly adorable, its incredibly easy to make your own fancy-pants bakery-style parchment liners.

After whipping up a batch of autumn-inspired Turmeric Tea Spice Pumpkin Muffins, I knew ordinary just wouldnt do for these fragrant, tender beauties. This batch needed to be celebrated. Like, what would a muffin wear if it was accepting an award for being the best muffin ever? A timeless LBD is never a bad choice, but now is the time to shine in a dishy Prada, right?

Modern Cake Decorating

Or, as I like to call it, Semi-Nude Be-Sprinkled White Space Number Cake.

Normally, I don’t go too far beyond a whip of frosting when it comes to decorating cakes, but this year is my tenth anniversary with Jason. This cake had to be special.

Pretty sure the 10 year gift is cake, right? Like one year it’s bronze, one year it’s paper…and in year ten it’s cake.

Italian Cream Cake with Salted Cream Cheese Frosting (High Altitude)

Every year since Jason and I married, I attempt to whip up a replica of our wedding cake – an Italian cream cake – in honor of the occasion. A dreamy confection made up of coconut and nut-flecked batter topped with a swirl of cream cheese frosting, the cake is the perfect edible anniversary gift. Just one problem, though.

Cake is my archenemy.
